History
Opened in 2007, the park hosts weekly tournaments and has a tournament field complex and residential village space. It has four lighted turf fields and four grass fields, all regulation size. Golden Goal includes the Athlete's Village, where 36 clubhouses hold up to 720 people per week right on the complex.
Set against the awe-inspiring Adirondack Mountains, and after an extensive search for an ideal location, a 200 acre historic farmland was discovered that would soon become the future home of Golden Goal Tournament Park. By simulating an Olympic style life experience where the player, parents, coach and officials shared in the experience equally, the ultimate sports complex was built

At Golden Goal the focus is on providing a competitive environment (the Olympic-style experience) for the core club travel player and not just the elite player. The experience provides, equally benefits teams of all skill levels as the emphasis is on the young developing athlete. The focus on middle school aged participants for the core summer programs is intentional as they are in the formative years of their development and a great impact can be made to improve their future lifelong choices.
Golden Goal opened its gates on June 28, 2007. Today, Golden Goal's future resides within the young athletes and participants. Each year these athletes will be the ones that determine the legacy of youth sports and that of Golden Goal. It is for this reason Golden Goal was envisioned, built and exists; to become the Ultimate Destination for the kids, families, coaches and officials to share an extraordinary experience together and create wonderful memories that will last a lifetime.
TESTIMONIALS
"Golden Goal is a state of the art facility! This incredible venue provides exceptional turf and grass fields, team lodging and nutritional meals. The clinical instruction provided by internationally renowned instructors and Team Canada players was amazing. In addition, the competitive tournament allowed for full game situations to be monitored and appraised by College coaches. This is an incredible concept and should be endorsed by many, as the Golden Goal facility has made a major commitment to the Sport of Lacrosse."
